Welcome to the portal of the Legal Deposit of digital files prior to printing of the National Library of Spain. Through this portal, publishers can deliver the digital editions of their publications, in compliance with Spanish Law 23/2011, of July 29, on legal deposit, modified by Law 8/2022.
The legal deposit aims to compile the cultural and intellectual heritage of each country, in order to make it available to the public. It is, therefore, a medium that guarantees the preservation of all editorial production and must be considered as a democratic asset that ensures today’s citizens, and future generations, access to the intellectual legacy for information and research purposes.
